SPRING BEAUTY

Few weeks ago, a dear friend of mine introduced me to Cosmetici Magistrali, a brand of skincare products recommended by her dermatoligist and only available in pharmacies (at the moment, I'm afraid, only available in few countries). My friend gave me a sample of the ANTIOX C20 System Facial mask with Vitamin C Compex. I thought I found the perfect facial mask when I tried the Eve Lom Rescue Mask, but I have to say that the Cosmetici Magistrali is an excellent alternative. I'm now using this peel-off product on a weekly basis, and, thanks its antioxidant and whitening action, after each application my skin looks brighter and healthier.

My other new entry is a 'classic' of the natural beauty care: Dr. Hauschka's Hand Cream. With its natural ingredients and essential oils, this cream leaves your hands super soft and perfectly hydratated. The best part is its non-greasy texture and that it has a delicate buttery yet floweral smell. It reminds me of another beauty favourite, Jurlique's Lavender Hand Cream, but Dr. Hauschka's is a more budget-friendly option. So, voilà my latest discoveries in the beauty department, I hope you will enjoy them!

IN BLOOM

May is one of my favourite months: spring is blooming, days are getting warmer and I receive a lot of beautiful presents for my birthday, which is just few days away. This colourful top by Prabal Gurung for Target is an early gift from a dear friend and it is just perfect to celebrate this wonderful season!

GET SHORTY - THE OUTCOME

Wearing: Marni parka (similar here), Marni for H&M necklace and belt

I didn't go as short as I threatened Mr. NJAPD in a previous post, but still short enough for a much needed radical (hair) change. This time I went to the salon of Roberto D'Antonio in Rome, which was warmly recommended by my stylish sister-in-law: I gave Roberto carte banche, only mentioning that I wanted to cut my hair short and I couldn't be happier with the result. What I really like about this crop is the edgy look and the fact that it is a very low maintenance hair style. I'm sure it will accompany me for a while!
