This is my first day back at work (meaning my real job and of course the blog) after a short holiday in Italy. So I wanted to restart my posts in a sea-nostalgia mood. This picture was taken on our first day in Viareggio, wearing a stripy dress and my Relations de voyage's Carré bag.

One of the most romantic names for a label of bags. I first discovered Relations de voyage seven years ago in Pietrasanta, a tiny Tuscan village full of small boutiques, art galleries and lovely restaurants: basically, the place to find anything stylish.
Created in 1997, this label offers a beautiful and unique collection of handmade bags made of recycled and reused sails. I was lucky to visit their atelier, where it was possible to see the artisan work behind these charming objects. Alas, the shop in Pietrasanta doesn't exist anymore, but it's possible to shop on its online store. So the trip can continue.

Very pretty! I have always been so into stripes, I think that they are so stylish and fun! Very pretty!

You can buy that bag for 9.99 Euros at the COOP. I am pretty sure there was a coop in Viareggio?
ReplyDeleteLove the dress though. I cannot repeat here how we used to call these dresses when I was at highschool. But if you know a man from Tuscany, he may be able to tell you...
I love this outfit! I have a similar dress by Marc by Marc Jacobs and I've been wearing it every summer for about 3 years. Love your Pierre Hardy sandals for Gap...I've never been able to get my hands on the collaboration. Thanks for your lovely comment on my blog. NHG x
ReplyDelete@Tuscan foodie in America - I used to go to Esselunga in Viareggio. But if you assure me that they sell these bags for that price at COOP, I'll surely reconsider my shopping habits.
ReplyDelete@Notting Hill Girl - Thank you for the nice comment and for visiting my blog!
This dress is perfect for a summer's day! You look adorable! Super jealous of your holiday in Italy!
ReplyDeleteLove your blog x
