In case you were curious to see the front of the dress I was wearing in The New York Times' Readers Street Style feature, here you go. Mr. NJAPD alluded to the fact that I may bore you with my Marni for H&M outfit marathon. Please let me know if this is the case and I'll try to give a rest to my beloved pieces for at least a couple of posts...

Nope not bored - love the pumps with the red belt - perfect accompaniments x btw i find roger vivier pumps really uncomfortable - i only have one pair with a 40mm heel - they rub my little toe - how do you find them - do you buy them very fitted or slightly loose as i did xx

Thank you Claire! Regarding the Roger Vivier, I've always found them very comfortable, but for the Belle Vivier model (both 20 mm and 40 mm heel) it's true that they can be a little bit loose if you take your size (which is what I do). As for the Belle de Nuit/Gommette, I usually take half size smaller. My 'secret' to ensure perfect fitting is to use one of the Dr. Scholl's insoles (http://new.drscholls.com/drscholls/products/for-her.jspa). Hope it's helpful!

Wow, you are wearing this one so so sooo well! I loved the print and colour of this dress very much, but it didn't look right on me, so sadly I had to send it back (I spent 3 weeks making up my mind whether or not I should return it, because the fabric print was just beautiful...)

Congratulations on your second feature on the NYT! I love that dress....and the marni pieces are now history from my local H&M stores! I didn't know that you are 3+30! You look super young and from scrolling down and seeing the desserts...AHH! I am hungry now! lol!
ReplyDeleteI Love how the colour of your shoes match perfectly tha print of your dress and... the wood boards in the back ground...
ReplyDeleteI don't think anyone could ever be bored by beautiful pieces from Marni. I don't remember this dress from the H&M collection, which means I obviously wasn't paying close enough attention - it's so beautifully ladylike and demure. And those lovely Roger Vivier shoes are the perfect match!
