PHILOSOPHY FOR MY FEET

I'm not sure if I ever mentioned it, but when I was little I did ballet for more than ten years and I think that my obsession with the care of my feet comes from this. I am always curious to discover new beauty products for what I consider to be my favourite part of the body and I was delighted to try the Philosophy 2 Piece Foot Pampering Set.

I find the brand particularly interesting since Philosophy promotes a holistic approach, which means that their main focus is on the overall well-being of the consumers of their products. You can read a short story about each product and its 'philosophy' on the packaging, which I found to be a nice touch that helps you getting a little bit more of perspective. Back to my Feet Pampering Set, I have been using the Footnotes Energising Foot Scrub once a week (exfoliators are the starting point of any beauty routine) and the Soul Owner Exfoliating Foot Cream every day, and, after just less than a week, I could already see the difference. I have very dry heels and after four days of regular use, these creams have helped me smoothing the most calloused parts and softening the skin that now looks silky and perfectly moisturised. Another thing that I liked a lot about the Philosophy Foot Duo is the nice and refreshing smell of eucalyptus and other botanical essential oils as I am partial to anything that smells 'fresh'. So if you need an overnight foot makeover, look no further.

  1. It never ceases to amaze me how many of we bloggers are former damcers - I practised ballet for thirteen years and sadly, have the bunions to.prove it. I'm always on the hunt for new products to soothe and care for my poor, damaged feet. The idea of results within only a week is wonderful! I'm a longtime Philosophy fan, so I shall have to track down this set :)

  8. I didn't know that you did ballet dear Caterina! It's so beautiful. I'm from Russia so ballet is really big there, we are sort of born with tremendous respect to ballet dancers:)
Though I never did it I really pay attention to my feet care. And this cream sounds like a perfection. I also love the idea of writing on the packing about the brand's philosophy. Thanks for the tip;)
