Dear friend and readers, happy New Year! I hope you enjoyed the festive season and I would like to thank you once again for your visits, comments and kind messages while I was taking a very long holiday! This is the period of new beginnings and new resolutions. I haven't started making 'serious' plans yet, but this year I promise I will scrap the usual "go to the gym" from the list. Having said that, on the frivolous fashion side, I have few ideas such as: cut my hair very short, try to post at least twice per week, wear more silk and colourful pieces. Ah, Mr. NJAPD would love to see less bulky costume jewelry boxes in our shared wardrobe. Hence, to be on the right track to the fulfilment of at least one of my resolutions here is the first very colourful post of the year. I wish you all a nice week!

  1. gorgeous - feminine and sweet but with an individual bent - you so have your style sorted out - my resolutions to move from the design only to the whole production and to take it easier on my body .... watch that space! xx

  2. Happy New Year, Caterina! I hope you enjoyed your long holiday very much :) I'm intrigued by your resolution to cut your hair very short but, I admit, completely distracted by your bright and beautiful skirt - I think you have the colour resolution right on!

  8. The skirt is beautiful! I haven't worn a skirt so far this winter, it's simply too cold for one. I've been thinking of cutting my hair short too. I'll have to make the courage to go for it. :)
