GETTING READY FOR CHRISTMAS

Wearing: Public cardigan, Carven skirt (similar here), Made in Home book clutch, Roger Vivier Belle de Nuit suede pumps (available in red here and in grey here)

Believe it or not, the last weeks have been so busy that I have not even started drafting my usually very long and detailed Christmas letter, which normally takes up to two months of 'hard thinking'. However, I'm never short of ideas when it comes to drop a suggestion (or three...) to dear old Santa. Therefore, voilà a couple of things I would not mind finding under my Christmas tree: a cosy and soft cashmere piece from Peter Hahn to get me through the winter months in style; another pair of Roger Vivier as I cannot have too many of them; and - if I had not received one already courtesy of the talented Nat at Made in Home - a beautiful book clutch as this is an accessory that would make any outfit unique. What about you, any special pieces on your wish list?

  1. Oh Caterina, every time I see you in this Carven skirt it makes me covet their collections even more. Just one tiny Carven piece to add to my collection is at the top of my holiday wishlist this year - and I'm keeping my eye on the after Christmas sales so I can make it happen :)

  3. Caterina because of you I pay attention to Carven. You have picked out the most gorgeous skirt from Carven. Love this one. You have paired it elegant as usual.

I know I have been working all end of november and all this december so far 7days a week. I'm uspest that I didn't had a chance to take some photos for blog, not even think about my Christmas. Delighted that today I had a chance to make a post. To be honest I never have made a Christmas list for myself only if I want to buy something for myself on sales. I love receive gifts when people put thought in them.

The book clutch indeed makes a little statement on it's own.

it's been a bit strange over here as it's really hot, i'm still getting used to the australian idea of santas on surfboards and bbqs on christmas day - hope you're having a busy but fantastic time getting ready!

  6. Fantastic outfit again. I especially love your shoes - very sophisticated.
I did Christmas letters many years ago but never found the time in recent years. I admire everybody who does!

  8. Your Christmas wish list sounds sublime (also: love that Carven skirt and the shoes). I think Peter Hahn cashmere sounds delicious and to that I'd add a pair of Acne jeans, Surface to Air booties, a Marni 3/4 sleeve transitional jacket and anything Celine...you know, because beggars can't be choosers. ;-) Stay beautiful!
